This was the topic of a seminar chaired by Prof. Eben Moglen and Prof.Prabhat Patnaik at Trivandrum. Dr. Sasikumar has prepared a write-up on the same. Prof. Moglen makes some very interesting points! He said that the company that has accumulated the highest amount of money has innovated very little.... Microsoft did not innovate, they purchased.
